Elkin Alfred

Elkin Alfred is a South Florida native of Haitian decent. She is a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida. Since graduation, she has dedicated her life to a career in social services and is now employed by United Way of Broward County Commission on Substance Abuse. Elkin’s commitment to the community extends into her personal life. She is passionate about cultivating an environment where service and philanthropy thrive. Currently, Elkin serves Broward County in various roles which include Co-Chair for Emerge Broward’s Engage Committee, a young professional group under Leadership Broward Foundation. She is also an active member of the local chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. – an international organization focused on helping people excel in mind, body and spirit. Elkin’s motto is, “Be intentional about the legacy you will leave behind.”
