Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about stomach cancer, advancing funding for research, and providing education and support internationally to patients, families, and caregivers. DDF seeks as its ultimate goal to make the cure for stomach cancer a reality.

DDF President and Founder, Debbie Zelman, spoke with U.S. News and World Report about the importance of being on high alert when it comes to stomach cancer symptoms and awareness. "People should be on the alert because signs and symptoms are vague," says Zelman. "Be an advocate for yourself, and go seek out medical attention."

Upcoming Events

Calling all artists and photographers!  Children of all ages 18 years of age or younger, who have been directly or indirectly affected by cancer, are invited to submit their original artwork and photographs to DDF for consideration in the 2017 DDF Youth Art Contest. Winners will have their artwork featured in the 2017 Youth Art Calendar and/or on the new line of DDF greeting cards.

DDF Medical Advisory Board Chair, David Ilson, MD, PhD, was recently interviewed about the future of treatments for gastric cancer. Dr. Ilson is a medical oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
